Gearing to drop the clutch

What gearing do you think it takes to be able to drop the clutch off the line? In stock trim, I had 16/45 and could do it pretty quick, but the RPm still dropped for a second or two.. I reviewed my video's from last year and it sounded like it was for about 2 seconds until the motor fully recovered. I was thinking possibly a 16/47 would do the trick (that fine line between hard launch and wheelie) so i just ordered a 47.

Anyone feel they have gotten close to that "ideal" launch? If so, how did you gear for it?

You are going to get to a point where the extra gear change is going to cost you the added 60' gain. I would just raise the RPM or work the clutch more to improve your times...
