Gauge cluster help!!!!!

I just installed a new trim ring on my gauges,and i noticed that only the temp was working so i checked the conection its ok...so i pushed the center button and it all worked but the temp gauge went up to hot..but i didnt have the bike running...all worked but temp now so i pushed the button again now norhing works again...i pushed the button held it down nothing works at alll!!!!! What should i do?

try unhooking the battery hen plug in the cluster

Try to disconnect plug from gauge again & plug it back in & see if it works properly.

Did you take the needles out or anything?

I unhooked the battery and that didnt do anything,but when i pushed on the front it worked,so i put my hand up the fairing to see if i could unplug it and i did then put it back and heard it click ....now everything works....thanks guys...what are the 2 buttons on the cluster for? I guess one is for the trip reset but whats the other one?

What kinda fluid do u use in the clutch reservoir?
