Fuel sensor wireing for machined pickup

Im going to convert my machined pick so iI can keep my sending unit, Ill trill and tap the 4 small holes, and then cut out that oval, I will make the square filling piece out of pourable pllastic in a mold, with studs to hold the wires...

I hate those FMU's....

yes, it's been done ONCE before using a NLR fuel tank plate. It was a pain, but it worked out fine. There are a few companies that have electrical pins for just this problem. Just need to drill the holes and tap it in. The seal they have is measured at a level that is byond belief and nothing can harrm them... it's a little easier than pouring, etc and hoping it's a tight seal. Just a thought for ya...
