Fuel Pump question

According to service honda, the 02-07 Hayabusa uses a fuel pump with model #15100-24FB0 (which I can verify). They also say that the Gen II 08 uses either 15100-24FB0 or 15100-15H00, does this mean that the 02-07 can use the GenII fuel pump ?

You can do a reverse part # look up on Ron Ayers web site under "microfiche"
According to that 15100-15H00 is a part # for 2008-09 only. 15100-24FB0 is apparently for Gen 1.

I looked there too, but it lists both for the 2008 year. I guess I just want to know if a 2nd Gen pump will fit & work on a 1st Gen?

oneida suzuki show the pump assy for 04-06 then 07-09

does anyone know if they changed anything from the 06 to the 07 that would change fuel pumps? Maybe plug end?
