What's up yall! This is my first post here! I cannot begin to tell you how much information I have acquired through this forum. Literally one of the only places I will even look when facing a challenge. So I'm sure this has been discussed and as everyone says "yes I used the search" lol but yeah I really did and didn't find exactly what I was looking for. Been going through this bike that sat for a year or two. Bypassed the internal filter, installed inline filter, have done plugs, coils, cleaned throttle body, balanced the throttle bodies, changed oil, flushed coolant system all the normal stuff. The bike has been feeling like it was starving for fuel under high demand. It is leaps and bounds beyond where it started thanks to you guys!! But she still isn't getting enough it seems. Before I go throwing a new fuel pump in it, just wanted to get some advice. I already have a pump sitting here ready for it haha so I might just do it anyways PS the fuel pressure gauge is only semi permanent for diagnostics. I do plan on installing a permanent gauge down the line so I can monitor it and spot a clogging filter before it gets too dirty, thanks to the post I read on here about bypassing internal filter I can now easily swap the inline under the tank. Also one last thing. Sitting here right now just idle freaking makes your eyes water should i be looking for a header leak??? Won't let me upload video. It primes at just below 20, idles at 30 and draws down from there with throttle.

Would be forever grateful if someone had a map to share for the 04 with yosh headers to single out, k&n filter kit, bypassed pump filter with 3/8 fuel line (with inline filter of course) and slightly higher fuel pump volume (or at least will be when I put the new pump in, I think) I feel like the bike should have more down low, get up and go. Just recently did a compression test came back really even, kinda low?, all right about 190 psi plus or minus 1 to 2 psi

The fuel pressure may very well be low due to a faulty pressure regulator… or a tired pump motor.
Fuel pressure needs to be 3 bar (42psi) or thereabouts.
Post up more pics of your bike.
Give us some more info on it, history etc.

Welcome along, about time you signed up instead of lurking in the shadows

Also, 190psi compression test is fine, my old 99 Busa had 210 last time I checked… at 125000 kms.

Welcome and great looking bike...Sorry to hear that it's feeling sick right now..

How many miles are on the 'ol beastie?

I concur with our resident retired Suzuki wrench-bender @Kiwi Rider that it looks like a fuel regulator or pump...if you have the pump already, you might as well change it out and test it as it appears you have covered everything else...

I'd also check and clean all the electrical connectors as sometimes these little gremlins can rear up and cause issues in very strange ways too....
