front forks

hi all , is there any difference to the internals of the forks from the later busa (say 03 for example) than my 99. My rebound adjusters are siezed solid so wondered if i would gain a better ride with the o3 onwards forks.
plus i like the look of the gold, or would i be better just getting the originals reworked

They seem the same to me other than the fact that they are newer. I recently put some 03 forks on my 99.

If you can't live with what you got, just get them rebuilt this winter
