Im looking at an 04 Busa with 17,000 Miles on the ODO and a 05 Busa with 18,000 Miles.

My question is this. While looking at the 04 and the 05 side by side I noticed that the 04 looked lowered in the front compared to the 05. Is this normal? or could this be the aftermath of a wreck? :please:

Outside of a fork issue, like springs or seals, the forks should be roughly the same in length, that doesn't mean that the bike hasn't been lowered. Some even get the forks shortened.

Thanks^^^^

I ask because I think the bike was laid down and rebuilt. However the dealer says it was not. I did not see a aftermarket "tripple tree or Spacers" so I ruled that out. But the forks could have been shortened by the previous owner. I dont mind the lowered ride at all just want to be sure that I wont be thrown off the bike at high speeds because of faulty forks.
