FI light came on tonite

Took the Busa out for a quick spirited ride on the highway. I really launched down one of the on-ramps and when I looked at the dash the FI light had come on. Bike was still running fine.

Went home and shut it off. Started up again and light was off. No trouble codes were set but the TPS sensor was slightly out of adjustment so I fixed it. Went back out and no problems.

Can an out-of-adjustment TPS sensor trip the FI light?

Thanks for the info. I never realized that The TPS sensor could fall out of adjustment enough to trip the FI light.

That must have been the problem since I had the bike out for a brisk 60mi ride with no issues. I had to savor it since I don't think there are going to be many more decent riding days for a while in the NE.
