I have a GPS but I use the Paper Map App mostly.

There was an app that I cant remember the name of, it would sense a fall and alert someone you chose to be your emergency contact. It was for riding.

I guess they are trying to get car people to incorporate this into nav apps and systems so it's built in.

Eat sleep ride is a good general app- and crash light will send a location notification if you have a spill...
