exhaust R22 Bling - PC3 question

I am thinking about using slipons instead of full exhaust.

I was reviewing all the slipons and noticed the R22 Bling.

I must say the Bling adds a bit of bling.

Can I run these without a PC3 and custom map as you can with the R77's?

I have read some people are concerned about running the bike to lean but I also heard the 2008 is a bit smarter and will adjust properly?

Any help would be great

With slip-ons just like the 07 you don't have to have a power commander. You can put a full system on like the R-77 and leave the stock 02 sensor in it and it'll adjust somewhat. Your best bet is to get it put on and have it put on a dyno and have it ran through all the variables that you'll see on the street and see for yourself if you are willing to allow your bike to run at those air/fuel ratio's. Each bike is going to be different.

why not full exhaust?.. it s a few hundreds dollars difference.

take the akrapovic and do not change the settings of the bike

akrapovic recommends it..and you will have the sound...
