Do I have to do the marble mod if I eliminate the PAIR valve and air pump?

No, just plug the hole at the air box and cap the line to the throttle bodies...easy job!

buy pair block plates off ebay for about $6. Now you can remove 1.5 lbs or so of hardware completely off the bike.

I didn't have any marbles, so I used one of these... Shepherd 5/8 in. White Plastic Leg Tips (4-Pack) - 89106 at The Home Depot
