Exhaust change

Hi I want to change my end cans but was told by a dealer that this would weaken the rear end when loaded with pillion and luggage and could cause it to snap. My model is Gen2 2010?????

It shouldnt weaken it at all. Theres a ton of guys on here with aftermarket exhaust and luggage. The luggage bolt to the exhaust brackets if im not mistaken

It is and I said the weak rear frame was addressed years ago he replied blah blah blah. See dealers don't know everything hahaha

Geez I hope the rear subframe isn't supported by the header flanges on the engine... The exhaust "hangs" from the header flanges and the exhaust can mount.

Why would a dealer try to talk you out of aftermarket parts? Not only is he technically wrong, but he's a HORRIBLE SALESMAN!
