I think it was the Discovery Channel that had a special on him over the weekend. What a bunch of memories that brought back.

I think it was 1974 (I was in 4th grade), when he tried to jump snake river canyon. My much older brother paid thirty some dollars a ticket for the two of us to go to the convention center and watch him jump the canyon live via closed circuit TV.
Evel talked about the fortune he made on his toys, all of which I had. I think when we got into black cats and M-80's those toys met their demise.
What a blast from the past, he lived in a nitch. As a footnote, there were definitely some similarites to Evel in the "Ghost Rider" movie.
