So I have two separate Battery Tenders plugged into the same outlet in my garage. There's nothing else plugged in on the circuit, and it's attached to a 120V/10kA breaker.

I don't know a whole lot about Battery Tenders, so do any of you electrical guys see anything wrong with this arrangement?

Thanks

No, you should be fine. It is most likely a 20amp breaker protecting the circuit.

Edit: my bad, I just noticed you said 10amp. You should still be ok. I don't think those tenders pull much.

Power = Volts * Amps
P = 12 * 1.5 (Most trickle chargers never provide more than about 1 amp to 1.5)
P = 18 watts

Power is power so to find the draw on the 120 volt side.
18 = 120 * A
A = 0.15 amps

on your 10 amp breaker you are drawing less than an amp with both connected.

The mad scientist? Yeah, I figured he would be all over this one. :laugh:

Yep, I've blown up some stuff for sure. Try changing a wall outlet without turning off the power!
