DynoJet's New LCB

(ToyKraz @ Feb. 20 2007,17:21) Was looking for a way to store multiple MAPs on the PCIIIUSB. Talked to Dynojet and this is their new solution to that.

Anybody tried one of these yet? Is it worth the $299 they are asking for it?
Not just that you also need the hub,
http://www.powercommander.com/new_product_2.shtml
No, you don't need the hub if the only goal is multiple maps and data-logging. You could buy the HUB if you wanted pressure monitoring (Turbo), Gear Position, etc...

Seen it just cant see the money . i carry a laptop if I need to make changes ..can hold all the maps I want and make changes to them also. for 300 your well on your way to a decent laptop get a small enough one and you can carry maps atlases and all kinds of stuff they fit nicely in a tank bag...

How do you then switch between the 2 maps? I thought the handel bar mounted switch was the only way to switch between the two! Does the handel bar switch plug directly in to the LCD?

I think Chevelle has one. I believe he is changing maps on the fly when spraying. That would be a great application.

On edit, I think i was wrong about it being Chevelle. Must have been Johnnycrash.

I talked to Dynojet since they are local to me. I was told that switching between MAPs using the LCD screen is similiar to doing it on your laptop. Select the MAP and send the MAP.

The handle bar mounted switch would be a faster switching solution.

(dadofthree @ Feb. 20 2007,18:06) Don't ask 05BusaLE to spray professor.

Next question can you have just the hub and switch and still switch between 2 maps? does the power commander or hub store an extra map?

I asked that question as well. Yes, with the HUB and the switch you can store and thus switch between two maps.

The LCD allows you to store and access as many different MAPs as you want. However, I don't really see the point in more than two.

I've got the hub with the handlebar mounted switch. I run two maps - one normal and one that's fat for spraying a 45 shot. The switch mounts right on the handlebars.

My dealer got me mine for $180.

I can't actually remember exactly what I payed  -

and I really don't care anyway - not like money is that tight - WGAF about $20 if that's even what it was.

I thought someone had asked if anyone on the board was using this setup.  Thought I'd reply since I was - guess I should have just kept my mouth shut since the suggested retail police were on duty.

I know what you mean - I think I'm about to spend more in upgrades than what my bike cost new.

Oh ... and if it makes anyone feel any better, I paid $180 installed (he was doing a few other things at the same time - said it was truly plug and play).

Sorry bro - bad day today. And for just a second there you were my girlfriend freaking out on me for spending all this money on a bike that depreciates like a rock in a vacuum.

Didn't mean to come off like a d/h.

Later this week I'll post some pics of my setup - the bar mounted switch is pretty cool.

I know the feeling. Have you looked at my signature line. I am still trying to figure out how to explain about $4K worth of stuff that should be arriving over the next few weeks.

I know what you mean - If I'm lucky I can go home at lunch and get the UPS delivery off the porch before she gets home from work - then I don't have to explain anything.
