Would I be speaking out of turn if I suggested the use of English language rather than text speak?

I freely admit that I am a pedantic, aged, old school, mono-linguistic Brit but where possible, on an English speaking forum, it would be nice to read English....?

Some threads are written in a form that I scarcely understand!!

Sorry.

You are not alone. I also don't mind a misspelled word here and there, but smtmz u reed stuf whch mkse no sens at all

In chat window I prefer txt speech. If you type everything out, watch your spelling and grammer and there are a few people in the conversation. You may find that by the time you finish typing your comment or sentence the people have already changed the subject twice and moved on..

As long as the message can reach the perspective audience all should be well...but at the same time some standards should exist

What about Capitalization? For instance : I helped my Uncle Jack off a horse. And I helped my uncle jack off a horse. I guess Capitalization is required sometimes...:rofl:
