Have the unpleasant experience of sitting for 1 1/2 hours at the DMV to renew my drivers license.

One sign says:

“ Cell phone usage is not permitted in testing area”.

About 8’ to the right of that sign is another sign, it says:

“Quiet please, testing area.”

In between the two signs, is a sign which says :

“Scan this code to check in”

Gotta love these folks.

We do all of ours on line including if we need a picture for our license, there is a perimeter we have to follow but we can take them from home.

We also register our vehicles on line.

Theoretically we never need to go to the MTO (DMV).

They allow us once online, next time in person. Then online again.
All registration on line.
Sad operation though.

Everything is online here except the federal drivers license. I seldom fly but I may get one of those next year though as w/o one I have to show my birth certificate just to buy ammo.
