does the hayabusa have a electronic or cable driven speedo?

Hi All

Please can someone let me know if my 2001 busa have a electronic or cable driven speedo? because i would like to fit a acumen gear indicator.

Electronic. At least it should be. I don't think they've done a cable speedo since the 70's.. Wait for a for sure answer, but I'm 99% sure..

Electronic. That's why add-ons like the Speedohealer work. Also, I have a Track Day Electronics Gear position display on my 2000 so I'm sure it will work on a 2001.

busas are electronic.

i kind of miss cable speedos. change your sprockets... no speedo correction needed.

i now know i can get a gear indicator without too much messing around with extras/adaptors

what make/model of gear indicators have you put on your busa's and would you recommend?

Check out Track Day Electronics. It's the most cost effective, IMO. You can get it with or without a A/TRE built in. Track Day Electronics
