I couldn't sleep last night, woke up about 2:00 this morning and jotted this down for some reason. Was able to sleep all night after~!~
I remember when I was three,
My father sat me on his knee.
He said son let’s get out and go for a ride,
I remember to this day the excitement I could not hide.
T’was not a Busa, nothing even really nifty,
He rode an old half chop, I believe a seven fifty.
The step up seat should have let me see over his head,
But I was so small and I couldn’t hear what he said.
With the loud exhaust everyone knew we were coming,
But to him that engine was justa humming.
Nowadays doing things like two hundred or more,
I think back to the days of a bikers true core.
