 to you guys that can listen to tunes while riding! Personally, I'm not multi-tasking, it takes all my concentration to focus on the task ahead............aggressive canyon carving! Us old desert rednecks (Pacemaster and me) are too busy blowing off most all that attempt to keep pace with us in the mountains. No time for music!! :beerchug:

Always, always, always.

Mix it up.

Classical, Rock, Electronica, 80's, Country.

Put the iPod on 'shuffle all' and if the tune that comes up next doesn't work, I just reach up and advance it to one that does 'work.'

I listen to alot of different upbeat kinda songs... I keep the volume on the low side tho, just so it doesn't get to overpowering...

if i'm wearing a helmet, i usually have tunes going...Zumo 660 bluetooth to the Chatterbox speakers listening to a little bit of everything except rap and southern quartet gospel, it sure makes the 750-1000+ mile days pass a little easier :beerchug:

Classical, that's a brilliant idea.

Anything too aggro and I find I give it too much throttle...and then the corners are all fear no fun!

Jimbo, I always listen to music (except on racetrack), like Jink and Scar, a real mix. My teenage daughters load my music so it goes from Classical to Sheryl Crow to Eurobeat to Lady Gaga! Doyle

noise canceling earphones, just simple skull candy that plugin to my adapter for my phone, so I can pick up the phone while riding and stop the music to talk with other riders.

And I listen to Britney Spears it pumps me up "Hit me baby one more time, lol":cheerleader:

I ride my bike to get away from all the car stuff, especially the music. The sound of my exhaust and the air rushing passed me is what I love to listen to.

You need a "sometimes" answer...
I DID and WOULD but I'm having a hard time getting earphone/buds to fit right.
The earbuds fall out of my ear and are a pain to get in and put the helmet on
in the first place. Tried in the helmet speakers but the quality wasn't...there.

If I could find something that would work and was comfy....

Always ride with music. Back and forth to work is all highway for me. When following my buddy on the back roads on the weekends, I usually dont even notice the tunes untill we stop or slow down, so it doesnt distract me.

Oh, and I listen to a mix of rap, rock, pop.
