Did I get screwed?

What's good guys? Thanks for accepting me. I just bought my first Gen1 Busa at a good price and am/was excited. It came with all the bells and whistles. Air suspension, 240 wheel stretch package, Brock exhaust and plenty more. The guy told me that it slips in second gear. I figured I can replace the clutch and I'll be good. After I did some research, I saw that you can do a clutch mod to fix it. I'm mechanically inclined so I figured I can do the mod. So I bought the Carpenter Clutch Modification Lock Ring Suzuki Hayabusa from Schnitz racing figuring it will fix the issue. Took the bike for a test run tonight and it's jerking in second gear. Once I get past second gear, the bike runs just fine. Was the clutch mod suppose to fix that or did I get screwed?

Welcome to the forum and it appears you are about to get familiar with your Gen 1 in a hurry.....

If you get a chance, we like pictures........
Hi. How good of a price did you get? I know you are not going to do your clutch and trans like did to mine. Are planning to make a lot of HP with a turbo or supercharger? Roberson's transmission can do all you need 631-360-7219. With my trans and clutch I have about $10,000.00 in mine. When I am done with my turbo build it will make over 800HP. Until it is done ( I hope it is before I die) I will be 77 next yr. I will just have to ride and race my 2003 supercharged busa.
