It could be boring! There’s a show called Pluribus in which everyone shares the same thoughts and knowledge. I think I would go insane lol.
Hi. You see we are the same! But different! I do not want bad for anyone. We have to take responsibility for all that we do. As no one is perfect.

I’m sure most of us feel that way, but our elected officials aren’t perfect either. Too many times parameters in place to weed out people that milk the system from people that really need help are defective. It’s more complicated than it seems. All we can do is our best, but I’m not sure that always happens.

Hi. I know what you mean! As I work to help people. Some need it others do not. Some do not care if they get it. They ate never home they never call to tell the office that they will not be home to get the food. So I have to call the office tell the that there is no answer, then the office has to call them to try to get a hold of them to make sure that they are OK and that they are no hurt on the house. It holds me up 5 to 15 mins up. I have to deliver up to 112 meals in 3 and 1/2 hrs. Then if the office can not get a hold of them they send the police to make sure they are not dead in there house. Yhan they get mad as us. Than some live in a big house big yard 3 car garage swimming pool and drive a new Lexus and they get food?

Yes and that creates the opposite problem, people that really need the help and don’t get it.
Let’s get back to our critters.

Very true....

When I was in Toronto, there was a lady that was caught panhandling......

Her husband would drop her off somewhere in the area (in their brand new BMW), she'd be in character and wearing make up to appear disheveled and go set up in areas near coffee shops and eateries. Someone saw her get out of this car so the police set up surveillance as there is a big problem with this in Toronto...

She was making a fair bit of money by doing this, her husband and she lived in a nice condo in an upscale part of the city....

After this came to light, people stopped giving to the panhandlers....so in essence, her actions hurt others.....the crazy part is there is a non-profit organization that goes around to these panhandlers to give them necessities, even they were far more cautious after that....

This is the Critter thread, right?

That is what wild critters do, they take responsibility for everything that they do. And they get on with life just fine. It’s a system of survival of the fittest, managed by Mother Nature.

Then humans get involved, they tame those critters, feed them, interfere with Mother Nature. Now those critters can no longer survive from their own conduct, they need humans to be responsible for them and take care of them.

No different with humans. The more aid given to the worst poverty in Africa, the more they procreate, multiply and the more aid they need. This while they have tribal wars and kill each other. They end up living in terrible conditions and the more aid the civilized world provides, the more Mother Nature is ignored and the bigger the problem becomes.

Sadly that is a fact of life, no matter how much empathy we may have.

Please, someone post a picture of their beloved critter; my favorite thread is headed down the drain!

I've had a few of these guys, and they are my favorite.
I would get another one today, I just don't have the time that they need right now.
