Ok question I personally have do done it to my bike but seen it done.
Is it good or bad to disconnect the hose from the air box to the crack case.
Any pros and cons. Hp gains of any kind. Can a crank case block off plate be purchased?
Just wondering like i said this is a debate between me and a buddy of mine. Granted this is my 3 hayabusa and his first 2005 only a week old.

Not a good idea. The crankcase has to breathe. You might destroy your engine if you blocked it off.

Maybe not destroy the engine, but likely push oil out some seals and lose performance. I have heard of hooking it to a disabled PAIR system as a form of evacuation system that makes a couple HP. I haven't done it or verified the claim.

You can hook it to your PAIR hose or simply route it out the back of the bike to a catch can. The crank case vent hose emits hot, oil vapor filled air. While the EPA wants this in your airbox, your engine will make a couple more horses without it.

A cubic foot of air can only hold so much of anything. Hotter air contains fewer oxygen molecules per cubic foot. Oil (or water) in the air displaces oxygen as well.

Will it change your world. No. Will you feel it? No. If you're one of the guys who employs every little trick though...
