Cracked leading edge Busa front fender

Hi,
Less than 100 miles and after only 2 rides, I noticed a crack in the center of the fender extending from the leading edge about 2" long. While I have not kissed anything off the bike, it is possible that a stone on somthing hit the front of the fender at speed. It is also possible that I could have picked the bike up this way and not noticed. Is this a common problem with Hayabusas? If so, has anyone made any mods to the leading edge to resist impact to the fiberglass from small road debris? If it's not a common issue, I will just replace the front fender and keep this one for a repaired spare.

it could have happened during assembly/shipping/packing or ride'n. I'd try the dealer first. Maybe they'll throw you another one. it's worth a try
