Couple questions about slave cylinder

I recently bought a 01 Hayabusa. Bike had a couple known issues, one is the slave cylinder is leaking. I ordered a slave rebuild kit, and I am pretty good at doing my own mechanic work, however after looking at prices of an actual used slave cylinder that is not leaking, would I be better off buying a used one, or should I just rebuild the one I have? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I have replaced my entire 2003 slave assy with new OEM at $106 (item 20). The price difference is negligible. Super easy. See attachment.

Just rebuild it.Seals go bad after a while. I've rebuilt mine and its been good for 12k so far.

Do a thorough job, clean well, lubricate the seals with brake fluid. Torque correctly, all that.
