I went to Lake Charles after Laura got to help my buddy get trees off his house and relatives homes. The shear destruction out there photos will never do justice. He now has power and was lucky enough to have water. Others may not see power for upwards of 3 months or more

When one thinks about it, there are places in Puerto Rico which still suffer the wrath of last year's hurricanes and many areas of Louisiana have never recovered...those storms are devastating...

Far out... that’s some serious destruction from that storm!
Reminded me of the earthquake damage we suffered here in NZ 10 years ago.
Awful stuff, thanks for the pics Sarge.

Man, I have lucked out in my spot. We haven't been struck hard in my area of the panhandle since Ivan in 2004...folks in and north of Panama City still have blue roofs from Michael 2 years ago!
