Hi, i am looking to pull apart the clutch in my Gen 2 2010 Hayabusa.
I am just trying to find out what the thickness of the friction plates are suppose to be to know if they are worn or not, or what the thickness of new ones are.
It has a back cluck going from neutral to first ans also a slight cluck going up gears, thinking the clutch could be a tad worn but not sure until i can find some specs on it.
If anyone can help out with some clutch specs it would be appreciated.
Cheers.

Service manual, Clutch 5C-21

outermost fiber service limit: 3.42 mm (.135 in. )

middle eight fibers service limit: 2.62 mm (.103 in)

innermost fiber service limit: 3.42 mm (.135 in. )

No info I can see on total clutch pack thickness.

The steels also have several thicknesses they should be at.

outermost two steels, #1 and #2: 2.0 mm (0.8 in)

steels, 3, 4, 5: either 2.0 mm (0.8 in) or 2.3 mm (.09 in) according to what they installed--looks like they can be either or according to clutch pack thickness requirement.

steel #6: 2.3 mm (.09 in)

steel #7, 8 and the innermost, #9: 2.0 mm (0.8 in)

I'd strongly suggest you get a copy of the SM if you are going to disassemble the clutch pack. Very specific order. LOL don't get distracted!

There is also a spec for claw width on the fibers and warp on the steels.
