Chain adjustment from the factory

I go to adjust the chain for the 1st time, and notice the factory setting is not square. The marks on the swing arm are not stamped perfect, so I run a dial caliper and find it off .060" from square. Dang, it's off by almost a full mark.
So much for this stuff being dead on from Japan.

Where did you take the measurement from? The rear of the swingarm?
