On the track... Just a couple of times. Knee dragging is hyped up and overrated. There isn't too much amazing about it. Just enjoy the ride.

Stick you balls at the tank (i.e. move forward as much as possible). Shift your butt to the inside. Lay low on the tank and place your head on the inside almost against the mirror. Stick your knee out, and look through the turn. Very important - relax everything - your grip of the handlebars, your body. Just go through the turn and keep the gas on. The key is to not think about the knee, but to get that feeling that everything comes together and works smoothly, and you are not forcing the bike - you just go with it. Keep doing it, and all of a sudden it will touch down. Needless to say the track is the best place to do it, and once you touch down don't do anything (don't tense up, don't scream "Yahoo!!!", etc.) - just keep going.

Excellent walkthrough.

Nothing to it at all. Easy as pie.

I've raised mine an inch in the rear and put Competition Werkes footpegs on. So, no touchdown at all of hard parts anymore. Before, I was occasionally dragging the pipes and the kickstand.

I've got to be close looking at my tires, I'm a small guy so I may need to hang off a lot more. I have hit the peg many times until I took the stook ones off, now it's the foot that hits first.
