can i switch parts

between 05 and 06 busas? if you've read my previous posts. I have wrecked my 06 with a small crack in the engine stator reservoir (cannot weld back). I found a 05 for 2800. Do you think I can switch most/all parts. The 05 has some transmission issues in 2nd gear with 34k miles. Or is it even worth buying?

I got my body parts for 40 dollars per piece. Oem some with scratches, had to paint them all. So figure if you needed all the main ones and got the same prices as me, that's less than 200... Subtract that from your purchase idea and I'm sure you could get a good motor with less miles than that 05. But if you need other parts, or wanted to part out what you don't use????

But the comment about pics is definitely correct. What's your bike need all together?

Only difference would be cosmetic...
