Cam chain adjustment?

Hey guys,
I'm not sure how to adjust my manual cam chain adjuster on my Hayabusa? There were no instructions in package?
Can anyone help me out?

I'm in the same boat. I bought one and no instructions. I'm a little concerned on doing it right, I don't want to mess anything up. So far i've head to turn the motor colckwise with the stator bolt and make it about 1/4 inch of play between the cam sprockets. Still haven't done mine because i'm not sure.

Ya, I dont want to just wing it. I've got to much $ in this motor now.
Hopefully someone will help us out here!

Hey Busa Dave, FYI
I contacted Chuck at RCs Performance.
He says, tighten by hand as tight as you can get it then back off about 1/4 to 1/2 turn.

Basically, the way I adjust mine and seems to work is: turn the motor over with a ratchet/socket and tighten the tensioner by hand. Keep turning it over and tightening it by hand and till you can't tighten it anymore. Then, tighten it a 1/4 turn more and lock it down

careful if you have a Brocks the threads are finer than the APE's.
1/2 turn is not the same on both

That's reason enough to just use the APE
