OK, I'm back....next pics are old gold forks, then the new silvers....it's really taking on the look I want, I'm going to a lot of effort to ONLY have black and silver (including either powder coating calipers gloss black OR getting them polished).

I think they came standard luster....what blows me away is that when I apply Mothers and wipe off the black with terrycloth (you know the drill) it gets REALLY chromelike. The amazing thing is....it doesn't seem to dull down with use! I mean, sure it gets less shiny but it's so easy to restore the deep shine look. I thought they were going to be really high maintainance to keep up but they're really not....and they really liven up with minimal TLC.
