ok the other day coming home from work I noticed that every now and then my head light would dime at random, not thinking much of it at the time.

Today I start it up perfectly fine, then within 20 seconds it dies. So I start it again thinking maybe its just a little cold or something so this time i start it and keep it at 4k rpm thinking for about 20 seconds again and it dies out again.

I got no clue on what this is;

Anyone got any ideas or heared of something like this?

Does the engine die or the headlight?

hmmmm.. loose wire perhaps....loose bulb in the holder or faulty bulb itself?

At first it would sound like an electrical problem. Have you done any electrical mods to the bike ? How old is the battery ?

faulty rectifier or you just need to charge the battery properly. i thought to charge up the battery (once the bike is running) was to ride it and get the rpms up around 4500 or so to start recharging... i may be wrong but that is what I read somewhere...
