Completely different rides, both excellent choices.
If you can afford an $18k bike go for it!

Getting rid of your Busa? :corner:

But seriously, looks like you've put some serious work into your baby... I'd keep the Busa... :2cents:

MV Agusta: ultimate style, but not as reliable, I've heard.

Check out the latest Sport Rider Magazine. The Agusta F4 is their cover story.

From the article

Pros:
Strong, linear power
16lbs lighter than previous
Traction Control

Cons:
Still a bit heavy
Still pricey
Non-intuitive settings procedure

They spoke well of the bike commenting that it is all business and generally not set up for the daily commute. High peg, low bar comments tend to back that up.

Definately not like your current setup, but a great bike.

I almost bought an MV Augusta last year but instead went with a Ducati 1198. I also have a 2000 Busa. Your Busa is hella sweet so I would say keep it. Although a Ducati or a MV are great bikes, they are extrememly pricey to maintain. I just took my Ducati in for some service recently and came back almost 2000 lighter in the pocket. Also the parts are extremely expensive. I forget who commented on the ride. Yes they are fast, handle well, and have awesome brakes but the ride position is horrible. I use my Busa as an everyday rider and take the Duc out once in awhile. Also I would check on your insurance as I pay almost 200 more for the 19k Ducati then I do my Busa. If its what you wanna ride, then get one but there is a lot to think about. Dont get my wrong, I love my Duc and my Busa but with the price of the bike, maintenance, insurance, and god forbid it gets dropped or someone hits you, its game over.

From someone who has and still owns Expensive Italian Performance Bikes, if you have to choose between a Busa and a MV Agusta and you kinda don't know which, then you need to keep the Busa :eh: . That said, I have no idea  what you look at in a bike. If it's local and cruising in style with the occasional short trip, then GET THE MV. If it's realibility and practicality without the parts wait, then STAY WITH THE BUSA  !
And if it's track day, and you get the MV I hope you have LOTS of $$$$$$ for repairs :pullhair:
