No problem man. I've never bought anything from them, so I can't give you a review on customer service, but I've been lookin for a place to get tires for mine too. It took me forever to find that place that had the 56. I could find the 20 and the 14 but not the 56. I finally found that one though. Thankfully I saved it to to my favorates.

I get close to 7000 out of my Pilot powers. if you have not tried one, I would consider it. i would never go back to the bt56. Avons or Michelins seem to give comparable mileage with the benefit of being more sticky. just my .02.

I agree 100 % !! I can't believe the difference, since I put on the Qualifiers. It just handles SOOO much better !! However It's my first pair, so I have no idea what kind of mileage to expect ?

When I first got my Busa I was always on the highway, going to work. Even most of my riding was done on highways, and the Battleaxe was fine for that.

We ride mostly back roads with some highway probably 70/30 and if it wasn't for the dragon tearing up the tires we put 7800 miles before dragon plus 1000 at the dragon thats 8800 miles on our stock tires !!!

and Kenny can contest to our tires, edges scrubbed up nicely
sad to say more on the wifes bike than mine.....

Call Competition Accessories also known as CompAcc.com and ask for Aaron at extension 2212. I just called him today and ask about the same tire. They have it in stock. Phone number is 1-800-543-8208. Tell him Jesse from MD. sent you. He'll take good care of you. I've been gettin tires from him for the last 2 years.

How much you give for that tire? I ordered one earlier today. Picked it up for $150, S&H included.

I have riddin about 50K miles on 4 busa's,  I would not feel safe on the BT56's

I just bought another busa with 5K miles on her with 56's and when I snapped the throttle the rear broke loose like crazy. For me I really dont like the BT56, that tire technology is allmost 10 years old. I like the Michelin Pilots and I even get 5K+ from the rear and about 7K for the front.

They are about an hour away from where I live.  I usually make a couple trips every year just to browse.  Kinda sux, they just had the bulk of their business burn down last winter.  They have pretty much rebuilt it though.

I did have a point to this story, just forgot to put it in

They do a great job at taking care of their customers, at least at the store.

I didn't care for the OEM tires. Poor mileage for me and terrible handling. I've yet to have a set of Michelins break loose on me but the Battlax were constantly doing it.

Hahaha. I'm sure you do! Those are pretty impressive numbers on the PP. I was thinkin about getting one of those, but the thing that kept me away was I kept hearin everyone say they only got 2-3000 out of em. . . I can't handle buyin a tire that often. I've only had the thing 2 months and already put over 5000 miles on it. I was goin for a happy medium between life and performance. As long as I let it warm up it usually doesn't bust loose. Of course, I probably haven't nailed it 100% off the start yet, either. But then again, I don't usually do that anyway. . . If I'm gettin into it off a start I usually just roll into it.

5000 miles on a rear tire.
bowdown.gif
That always amazes me. I have 1750 miles on my bike, 500 mi. was under 6000 rpm break in, and the rear tire is almost gone. The last time I got 5000 miles on a rear tire was on a Nighthawk 750 with Michelin Pilot Roads.
I'll get another BT56 from the LBS and by 4000 mi. or so when it's done the front will be fried also and I'll use something different (PPs or BT002s).

I finally got some warm weather here and did some hard cornering on the new 07 .. Never scraped anything but I hang off pretty good .
The bt56s are not that bad .
I dont really know to much about that tire .Was it billed as s/t tire or sport .
Really all the tires these days will stick like stink to **** if you get em warmed up .
Im not happy with mushy frt susp though . I think new springs will be in my future .
