Brake fade after parked for 4 days

Sorry, I didn't think to ask where he found the air in my system, but I'm not sure that it matters.
I just checked it, and it went all the way to the grip. It was 'worse' than usual, but it has been sitting for a couple of days without me checking it.
So, today was my first visit back to the shop after the bleeding, but I did leave them a VMS as soon as I realized that it did not work. I kind of forgot about it since I've been riding my other bikes. The Busa reminded me again while rolling it back down a driveway.


Anyways, the Service Writer asked me when I wanted to bring in the busa; They ordered a new master cylinder and brake lever. I'm trying to decide on spending the $$$ now to upgrade to steel braids. (The Grand America is due for its 18K mile, $1,500 OUCH! service.)

Haven’t had the issue in awhile; use to happen practically everyday.

It was only on 11/26/22, but the Dealer changed out the front master cylinder along with the brake lever. It's still too early to tell.

Does anyone else have an update?

I haven't ridden much lately, but pushing the bike around the shop and starting it from time to time I've had zero issues. We have had cooler temps as well, coincidence?

It happened twice. After 4 days still, front brake lever initial pull was all the way to the clip on. After a couple of pulls it was normal. Called the dealer to notify. Was asked to leave the bike to check. It is hard to leave it for a week just to check. Any other riders noticed brake fade?
Yes, mine is the same even after the recall it is worse now

Moving the bike around the shop over the winter, rarely had the issue. Been riding daily the past week and it's back. Sometimes when I leave the house, sometimes when I leave work. No rhyme or reason other than the weather.

No dealership MC swap for me, but been looking hard at the RCS19 when I swap mine. At least if I'm spending money to replace a part, I'll feel better about it being a better part.

My ‘23 did it the first two rides when first pulling out of the drive. It’s at the dealer now and they replicated it and are waiting to hear back for direction. He says bike was built 10/22 so maybe it actually is part of the recall. IDK but the brake issue and hot start have both hit me with just over 100 miles… not good.

My 2023 has been doing this for over two months now. The bike has 4,100 miles on it. The "dealer" I bought it from has been jerking me around. They had my bike for three weeks and tried telling me all it needed was bled and Suzuki wouldn't cover it because it's a maintenance item. NOT at less than one year old and 4,000 miles IT'S NOT. So after that didn't fix it and the same problem came up again I was far less cordial with the service manager. They came and picked up my bike, bled the brakes again and called it good after a week of holding my bike hostage. Well guess what. Four days after they supposedly fixed it the second time, I went to ride to work this monday morning and the lever goes straight to the grip with no brake pressure. Told the service manager about it yesterday morning and all I got back was I'll have to contact Suzuki. My bike is outside of the VIN range of the recall but it's doing the exact same thing.

I would buy a new master cylinder...or look into your state's lemon laws.
