Snail Speed Street Bikes was kind enough to install my Gen3 Hayabusa 6th Gear De-Restrictor on his bike and give it a run on the dyno today

See what happens in 6th gear with the switch on and off.

FAQs:
Does this add hp? No
What does it do? It makes the bike think you are in 5th gear, when
you are really in 6th, IF the switch is turned on.

Does the gear indicator show 5th all the time? No
It shows 1N23456 with the switch off, and
It shows 1N23455 with the switch ON

So, is this a TRE? No!

Does this add hp? No!

Will my bike go faster with this? If you have the HP, it could.

Unrestricted once again !. This is a bike with so many possibilities. Even on a dyno, it pulls farther in 5th, longer. Plugged mine in, that simple. Thanks Greg !.

Having had this mod on my 2005, I think it's great we have this option still.
