Bike of the Century

Hapo likes his Busa as his best bike so far... however, the Honda CB750 should be the Bike of the Century. It truly is the bike that put Japan in the place they are in now, and paved the way for what we have today...we're not saying that the soon to follow Kaw Z1 and Suz GS wern't better bikes, but it was the CB750 that lead the way and finaly drove home what the Japs could and would do...

And so to the big one-the bike of the century. No question it is the Suzuki GSX1300R hayabusa, the fastest and most powerful road bike in the world. Equally capable of entering the 21st Century at 200mph. Commuting alongside Vespas or touring the world. And yes it is every bit as multi-faceted as the Black Shadow and SS100 that preceded it but much faster,more aerodynamic and considerably less expensive. Ducati's 916 comes second. It's status as design Icon and World Superbike Championship winner notwithstanding. Why? It's no longer the ultimate, and that's what is all about.
