Best front brake pads

I need to replace the front pads really soon.  I want to get a compound that won't wear down my rotors yet get the best stopping.  Sintered, semi-metallic and organic seem to be the choices.  Except for drag racing where there is a long shut-down lane I just drive on the street.  What is the best?

EBC hh or equivalent... little more noise, lots more grab. For more bite (recommended), also replace your lines with stainless, four line kit and the pads from Street & Track for around $220.
