I just ordered a Battery Tender, but I haven't seen what comes with it yet. When you install the connectors to the battery, do you leave an exposed connector hanging out so that you don't have to remove the seat when you want to plug it in?

I left the quik connection under the Hump so it's out of the wind but still easy to get to.

yup, that would be best. You could also look at different places that it can be tucked behind when riding. I had the one on my old ST1100 tucked out of the way and just fished it out and plugged in when it was going to be a month or so...

I routed mine to the area by the rear brake master cylinder. It will stay behine the pressure switch for the brake light but is still very easy to get to when you get back from a ride.
