To remove the plates just drill out the rivits. I used Marine Epoxy "Gray" to fill the holes.
It has been solid for 4 years.
You know, the other story on the PCII - III.
The 99-01's had a 16 bit processor in the ECU. The 02's and up have a 32 bit processor ECU.
Point being, you could just drop a map in it and be fine without the PCIII, Actually I think it is a PCIIIR.
