Well, after several years of lust, I finally bought a busa! It's an 04 black/purple. I just picked it up in Austin last week with 1 mile and drove it through the fog of love bugs 100 miles home, enjoying every minute

Thanks, all! I love them both, but there's nothing like the wind and openness one feels on a bike. I had actually planned on getting the red LE, to match my car (cheesy, I know). They had both models on the showroom floor, and the LE looked awesome, but when I saw the black/purple I fell in love :-)

That's the truth! Less than 24hrs after I bought it, my wife caught me checking out a set of chrome wheels on eBay.....she gave me the evil eye, and said "I hate you!" .....
