They called me last week. I told the lady on the the phone I had already had it done. She yeah but there is another recall. I'm like omg. Ok... just put my bike on the lift to tear down to turbo. I really don't think I will take it to a dealer now. I never let anyone touch my bikes but, for that recall, I let it slide because it was stock with a pipe. I absolutely have never handed my keys over to a dealer on my turbo'd bikes. I wish they would just give me the master so I could do it myself.

There is another front master cylinder brake recall. Got my letter in the mail two days ago. This one is for the reservoir cap diaphragm. The diaphragm contains an additive that affect the brake fluid and cause rubber parts inside the master cylinder to swell. Anyone else receive one of these recalls?

NHTSA Recall #24V769

Love watching your Busa trips man! I have a gen 2 with a 3 bag set up that I ride all over. 93k miles currently.

Thanks man, I appreciate that! 93k!!! Now that's awesome! How long have you been touring? I imagine you have been to a lot of places. I'm planning on doing the LOLO pass this summer

This happened to me as well.
Got the recall and free oil change and two days later received another letter. At first I thought it was for the other bike (MooreMafia bike) but it was for my white one…
I was wondering if you still had the mm bike. Im in the raffle for the gsx-r1000 in a few days.

Funny thing is i saw the letter in my email but never received it. May have been delivered to the wrong address. Guess i should call the dealer and have them check my vin.

That bike is a 12 I bought in 13 as a left over. There was a few years I rode it very little. It's been some places for sure but not like you. Most of the miles are from riding for work. I currently have 4 busas. The perfect bike imo. They are all set up differently. Along with my turbo gen 3 winter project, I have a gen 1 fighter I am building with my son this winter too. Hope you make more busa trip vids so I can live vicariously through you!

I don’t. I really didn’t ride it much either. Purpose built straight line bike… should be perfect for me as I’m in Florida. Whats really funny is the guy that owns it now has reached out about the spare key… I thought I had it but for the life of me cannot find it. Thing is he’s communicated through my friend at the dealer, reached out to me directly and it almost seems as if he’s owed it… wasn’t interested in meeting me halfway if I did have it either. Kinda sore subject right now. Lol.

Communicating with respect and tactfulness is just something most people dont care to do unless its an in person conversation where consequences can be immediate.

Assuming he has at least one key; why wouldn't he just get a new one cut? Simply isnt that big of a deal.

I've gotten both the letter and a phone call from Suzuki. Received the phone call a couple weeks ago. I might just upgrade the MC myself with the Berringer unit (like another member showed here in this thread) and be done with it. Peace of mind is worth the cost to me.
