airbox flap

hi all, i have a standard busa except for a k & n air filter, i am thinking of doing a few mods to it(simple ones first). if i cut the flap out of the airbox what would be the effect on the bike if any with no other mods except the filter, what else should i do to enhance it

oh,if you cut the flap out the idle will become lumpy.i had to have my busa remapped for this mod & i advise on the smart tre to avoid simular problems

The tre does not work for every bike, I lost 3 hp on the dyno by puting the tre in.
