air box Q??

hey guys, I have a gen 1 busa, modded.. pair valve removed and block off plates. i noticed today that the is a hole on the lower front of the air box, in the middle...it looks kinda like a drain hole. should this be plugged or is it infact a drain hole. Its at the very front, centered side to side, on the bottom. cant remember if there was a hole or not.

not where the paiu plug on the right side when the pair valve is deleter actuator valve is.... it actually looks the same as the hole or spout that is plugged when the pair assembly is deleted
