A question on rear wheel/swingarm...

Hi all.
On my 2000 busa I notice the rear wheel can be moved further back on the swingarm for about an inch or so more. By doing this, will it affect the handling of the bike in any way? How many additional chain links do I need to accomodate such a change?
Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It would make the "turn-in" of the bike a little harder, but it should be a little more stable at speed. Depending on how far the wheel goes back and how much play you have in the chain will determine if you will need another chain.
