A cheap fix to make sure your rear tire is aligned

Using a tread depth tool may be the cheapest and now the easiest way to assure your rear tire is properly aligned. Thought of this today. Plenty of measurements on the tool and it holds your last measurement. Tire and chain adjustment just got really easy. Hope it helps someone.

WOW! that must be the heaviest tire depth gauge EVER! Shipping weight of 3 pounds! Great idea though

Great idea for those who don't have calipers lying around!
 
2.00 bucks and something you can keep in the tank bag it is a good way to go.
 
Ok, what happens if yer swing arm is just a little krunked from the factory or maybe one leg is longer than the other? ( your reference point is different from side to side)?

Ok I did not want to do a step by step how to, but I am sure someone would check that part first. Since this board is full of mod freaks I never fill in all the blanks. Its really pretty simple stuff.
