Picked up my son a little PW50 this week. He has been wanting one for a while to copy his old man. I got on it and it will take me about 25 mph. I got to govern it down before Santa brings it!! Anyway just thought I'd share

Very, very cool. My sons would fall over dead if that was under our christmas tree. It's just not in the cards for now though. I would need a bike and all three of us would need off road gear as well. Maybe soon though! We even have a field next to us where the owner doesn't mind if people ride.

Yours is in a little better shape than my project. I am rebuilding a 1969 Mintrail 50 for my 4 year old right now. It sat outside for about 20 years and is in need of a lot of TLC but it is proving to be a fun project so far. Tons of parts available for these old things!

Sweet Ash! Looks brand new!

Not to hijack your thread... but I couldn't go new, so I bought my 7yo a used PW80. Just got the training wheels and ready to put it on when he's not looking. It's for his birthday this month

Not sure where we are going to ride, but I hope the yard is big enough for now...

I just love that their helmets are as big as their front wheel... too cute!

My 5 yr old just conquered the bicycle without training wheels (last week) so maybe for Xmas or birthday (Jan) get the motorcycle if he keeps practicing.
Any suggestions for starting out?
I'm thinking 50cc dirtbikes and training wheels (protective gear of course) but should I consider Yamaha or Honda or another model?

Man this thing isn't brand new. It's an 03 that is still like new! No I can't afford a new one like over a thousand, got this for a steal at 450 with everything. He's probably going to poop in his pants at Christmas!! Just happy to be blessed to be able to do this for him this year

Be cafeful. I have the same one. I started my 2yr out of that one. Even when you govern it, it will do about 25mph. If you hold the throttle open it slowly builds up speed. So a striaght away is like the 1/4 mile.
Whateva you do make sure the restrictor is still in the header.
