If I were to put together a 240 swingarm setup, what hardware would I need to complete the kit for install? Is there anything that I could/would use from the stock swingarm setup? I am referring to a Gen II. Thanks in advance!

You need a 240, 1/4 offset front sprocket and 240 wheel. Pretty much all.

just a supported strap off the roof or a cherry picker to support the bike in the air. the swingarm will require a special socket to remove the shaft nut.
and don't try to rush the install.

What about when you see kits and they state that the bearings are installed. Would I need to purchase those too?

If it states the bearings are installed then you can bolt it right up. But Some arms do not come with bearings installed.
