So i finally get caught speeding by the CHP. 90 in a 70.... forgot my wallet and the leo added no insurance or DL. and he didn't believe my story that i have an OOS liscense and have been in cali for about 3 weeks....

the other 2 will get thrown out put im kinda nervous about the cost of the speeding ticket. i guess ill slow down now.

This marks the 1st speeding ticket i have gotten on my bike. Im sure it wont be the last.

I got an 82 in a 55 just outside of Santee a few years ago. I took an online traffic safety course and paid a fine and the ticket disappeared.

you'll get some letters in the mail from lawyers. Call them for quotes to get it thrown out. Call all of them and go with the best quote. Don't eat it if you don't have to.

Speeding tickets issued by CHP in Cali start at $424 I believe, varies a bit in different counties. I got one last year in Tehama County (Nor Cal) in my truck for 65 in a 55 and the fine was $469, fees for traffic school were additional, something like $45 administrative fee to the court and then the $35 fee to the school. Also your no DL and no insur. charges can be dismissed but usually carry an administrative fee for those as well depending on county.

the speeding will show after traffic school, but they won't pull points.

in oklahoma you only have so long to prove ins before theres no fine i believe its 48hours. dunno bout license never been down that road.

so may wanna check and get those down there asap.

Fee down here for "fix it" tickets is $25 for the processing fee. $50 for the two dismissable incidents. the 20 over is going to hurt a little bit more than your last visit to the proctologist
